Cookie Policy
How this website uses essential and optional technologies.
Effective date: 9 October 2026
Review and change your optional analytics choice at any time using the Cookie preferences link in the footer.
1. Introduction
This Cookie Policy describes how Voltbase Software Ltd uses cookies, local storage and similar technologies on www.voltbase.software. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy. It applies to the corporate website, not automatically to separate Voltbase SaaS products.
2. What cookies are
Cookies are small files or identifiers stored on a device by a website. Similar technologies include browser local and session storage and tracking scripts. They can support essential website operations, retain choices, protect services and—if enabled with the required consent—provide analytics.
3. Strictly necessary technologies
Essential technologies may be used to provide requested functionality, protect the site or remember cookie choices where applicable law permits. They do not require accepting optional analytics. Some website features, including forms, may depend on necessary operational processing.
4. Functional and preference technologies
Optional technologies may remember interface preferences and personalise website use. Where an applicable exception does not apply, we will obtain the required consent before using non-essential storage or access.
5. Analytics
Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-C7HGPLSK9H) is configured to help us understand visits, content engagement and technical usage. The Google analytics script is only requested after a visitor accepts optional analytics. If you reject optional analytics, it is not loaded by our consent-controlled website script. We do not intentionally send personal details entered in forms to Google Analytics.
6. Marketing technologies
We do not currently configure advertising or behavioural marketing tracking on this corporate website. If introduced later, the policy and consent controls will be updated before activation.
7. Technologies used and planned
The site uses browser local storage under the key voltbase_analytics_consent_v1 to remember whether you accepted or rejected optional analytics. This preference persists until you change it or clear your browser data. After acceptance, Google Analytics may set first-party cookies including _ga and _ga_*, typically used to distinguish browsers and maintain session information. Their exact values, behaviour and lifetimes can depend on Google's settings and browser controls. Netlify or other infrastructure providers may also use necessary security or operational technologies where applicable.
8. Consent choices
Where consent is required, visitors can accept or reject non-essential analytics through the website banner. Rejecting optional analytics does not prevent ordinary browsing. Continued browsing is not treated as consent. We will not activate non-essential analytics before consent.
9. Changing your mind
The Cookie preferences control in the website footer lets visitors revisit their choice. Choosing Reject optional after previously accepting updates the stored preference, withdraws analytics consent and reloads the page to stop the previously loaded analytics script. The site also attempts to remove accessible Google Analytics cookies; your browser settings can be used to clear any remaining cookies or other stored data. Withdrawal does not undo processing that occurred before it.
10. Third parties
Website hosting and enquiry forms are provided through Netlify. Google Analytics 4 is active for visitors who accept optional analytics. Third-party processing and international transfers are also described in the Privacy Policy. Any future additional tracking services will be assessed and documented before use.
11. Storage and duration
Browser storage for the consent choice persists until it is changed or cleared. Google Analytics cookies commonly include _ga and _ga_*; their configured default lifespan is typically up to two years, subject to Google configuration, browser restrictions and subsequent user choices. Session and operational technologies may have shorter lifetimes. Cookie behaviour should be rechecked when website services or analytics settings change.
12. Browser controls
You can inspect, restrict or delete cookies through your browser privacy or security settings. Blocking necessary technologies can affect parts of the site. Rejecting optional analytics should not interfere with viewing corporate content.
13. Other Voltbase brands
Independent Voltbase-branded websites and software applications may use different authentication, operational or payment technologies and can publish their own policies. This notice does not assert that these technologies are used on the corporate website.
14. Updates and contact
